Product details

Fastshifter Invisible A2 decking screws 4.5 × 60 mm are driven into the side edge of the deck board, so that no screw head is left visible on the finished surface. The deck reads as one clean, uninterrupted plane — and there are no exposed heads for water to sit around.

The screws are made of A2 stainless steel. A2 stainless steel gives lasting corrosion resistance in outdoor conditions with rain, humidity and temperature cycling. This pack contains 600 pcs.

Key features

  • Invisible fastening — driven through the board edge, nothing shows on top.
  • Double thread — pulls the board firmly down onto the joist and closes the joint without gaps.
  • A2 stainless steel — corrosion resistant, for permanently exposed outdoor decks.
  • Conical head — seats into the board edge without damaging the surface.
  • Self-drilling tip — reduces chipping and splitting at the board edge.
  • T15 drive — reliable torque control and less risk of cam-out while driving.
  • Professional finish — designed specifically for timber decking boards.

Where it is used

  • Timber and thermally modified decking boards.
  • WPC / composite decking and other outdoor timber structures.
  • Terraces, balconies and roof decks with high visual standards.
  • Barefoot areas, where no screw head should be exposed.

FAQ

Why A2 stainless steel? A2 does not rust in normal outdoor conditions, so there are no rust streaks running down the board edge and the fixing keeps its strength for the life of the deck.

Why a double thread? The second thread pulls the board down onto the joist as the screw drives, closing the gap and stopping the movement that causes squeaking later.

Will it damage the board? No — the conical head and drilling tip are designed to enter the board edge cleanly, and the fixing stays invisible from above.

What timber is it suitable for? Both thermally modified and ordinary timber decking, as well as WPC boards, in outdoor conditions with moisture and temperature cycling.
