Product details

Fastshifter Anti-Slip Tape 50 mm × 10 m is a self-adhesive grip tape for steps, ramps, walkways and terrace edges, indoors and out. Its abrasive surface sharply reduces the risk of slipping on wet, icy or worn surfaces — and it is applied in minutes with no tools.

The black finish is discreet on dark decking and stone, adding grip without visually breaking up the surface.

Key features

  • 50 mm × 10 m roll, 0.65 mm thick.
  • Aggressive anti-slip surface, effective when wet or icy.
  • Resistant to heavy foot traffic, moisture, UV and temperature swings.
  • Strong adhesive backing bonds to wood, metal, tile, concrete, glass, aluminium and plastic.
  • Performs through hot summers and sub-zero winters without lifting.
  • Cut to length with scissors or a knife — no special tools.
  • Discreet black finish for dark decking and stone.

Where it is used

  • Terraces and balconies — to prevent slipping in rain and ice.
  • Stairs and step nosings — grip and additional visual definition.
  • Ramps, walkways and paths.
  • Pool surrounds and wet areas.
  • Industrial and commercial floors, loading areas and plant walkways.

How to apply

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely.
  2. Measure the length needed and cut it from the roll.
  3. Peel the backing and lay the strip as close to the edge of the walking surface as possible.
  4. Press down firmly with a roller or by hand along the full length.
  5. Round off the corners of each strip — square corners are what catch and start to peel.
