Product details

The Fastshifter Slope Adjuster (for FT0) corrects the fall of the base so that the finished terrace surface comes out level. It sits on the head of the pedestal, between the pedestal and the tile or joist, and tilts to take up the slope — 2° (approx. 8 mm).

Almost every real base has a fall in it: balconies and roof terraces are laid to drain, patios slope away from the house, and compacted gravel is rarely perfectly flat. Without a slope adjuster that fall is transferred into the finished surface, tiles rock on their corners and the joints open unevenly.

Key features

  • Compensates the base slope — 2° (approx. 8 mm).
  • Compatible with FT0 pedestals.
  • Keeps every tile fully supported, eliminating rocking and cracked corners.
  • Weather-resistant plastic — unaffected by moisture, frost and temperature swings.
  • Fast to fit: place it on the pedestal head, no tools required.

Where it is used

  • Roof terraces and balconies laid to a drainage fall.
  • Patios sloping away from a building.
  • Compacted gravel and crushed stone bases with minor irregularities.
  • Any raised tile terrace where surface flatness and water run-off both matter.

Fastshifter specialists recommend fitting a slope adjuster wherever the base has a measurable fall — it is the difference between a surface that looks flat and one that is flat.
