Fastshifter Adhesive Rubber Tape 2000×25×3mm

The Fastshifter Adhesive Rubber Tape 2000 × 25 × 3 mm is a self-adhesive rubber strip made from high-quality rubber granulate. It is used to form the drainage gap between side boards and the deck structure, and as a bearing strip under joists, WPC boards and paving tiles.

The adhesive on one face makes it far quicker to install than loose pads — press it onto the frame and it stays where it is put while the boards are fitted. A 3 mm thickness gives a precise, repeatable gap and takes up minor irregularities in the substrate.

Key features

• 2000 × 25 × 3 mm strip, adhesive on one side.
• Forms a consistent 3 mm drainage gap between side boards and structure.
• Impact sound insulation — damps vibration and footfall noise.
• Evens out minor irregularities in the base.
• Withstands sustained load without permanent compression.
• Non-slip, rattle-free, no sharp edges.
• Reduces water penetration into the joint.
• Protects the structure both above and below the strip.

Where it is used

• Between terrace side boards and the frame, to form a drainage gap.
• Under WPC decking boards, as a bearing and damping strip.
• Under paving tiles and slabs on a timber or steel frame.
• As a shim to fine-tune the height between base and structure.
• Narrow bearings — the 25 mm width suits side boards, trims and edge details.

Clean and dry the surface, cut the strip to length, peel and press firmly. For long runs, butt the strips rather than overlapping them so the bearing height stays constant.
